Data we process

We process account email, authentication data, upload metadata, screening results, technical logs, and files submitted for screening.

Audio processing

Short audio samples are sent to AudD, an external music-recognition provider, solely to perform requested screenings. Original files are not publicly accessible.

Retention and deletion

Original uploads are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours after processing. Users may delete a screening earlier. Reports and metadata remain until the user deletes them or closes the account, subject to applicable operational and legal retention duties.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Music Check stores Stripe customer, checkout, and subscription identifiers but does not store full payment-card numbers.
